Founder & Executive Chef

Cami is a chef, writer, and trained historian interested in the ancient origins of hospitality, the sociology of taverns, and the technology-resistant dimensions of food and eating. She has lived in the neighborhood since 2020, and happily divides her time between the front- and back-of-house.

Chef de Cuisine

Julie is a visual artist and chef from New Jersey. Before joining the Dinner Party team, her taste and technique were honed during her Bengali-American childhood and her time as a line cook and vegan cheese affineur in Philly’s vibrant food scene. At DP, she leads the kitchen with patience and unfailing humor, and her eye has been instrumental in shaping the restaurant’s distinctive visual character.

Sous Chef

Possessed of a huge heart, an incisive palate, and a pun-generation rate faster than the world’s most powerful supercomputer, Sam is the trustworthy older brother character in our kitchen’s coming-of-age story. Like Ezra hailing from Massachusetts, he has a strong culinary affection for fish in all its forms. In his free time you might find him strumming a guitar or reading a great book, probably surrounded by old friends. 

Beverage Director

Hailing from Massachusetts, Ezra is a cocktail savant and graphic designer who has been with Dinner Party since it re-opened at Hall Street in October 2024. Always a welcoming presence behind the bar, his Whiskey Sour is on many a staff member’s desert island drink list. When he’s not here, you can find him accompanied by a good book or winning games (mostly!) with his basketball team.

Lead Server

Sabi is a tattoo artist and student of philosophy with deep and effortless expertise in the front-of-house. As lead server and FOH elder, she maintains the inviting and intimate spirit that makes Dinner Party what it is. A native of Manila, she now holds the title of coolest girl in New York.
