a little bit about us...
Dinner Party offers a seasonally-rotating, collaboratively-designed menu for dinner, and a handful of reimagined brunch classics, with rotating pastries, at café. Check them out in the “menus” tab of this website or on our Instagram!
If you come hungry and are excited to try different things, our dinner menu can also be ordered in classic Dinner Party style, as a prix-fixe. We offer a Four-Course Prix-Fixe version at $85 per person, carefully sequenced by our cooks with balance and delight in mind. Guests can also order from our A la Carte menu.
Our space is quite cozy, and we seat some guests communally in the spirit of a dinner party. While we cannot guarantee fulfillment of requests for specific tables, let our nightly host know your preference and they will do their best to accommodate!
Reservations are released every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. and can be booked three weeks in advance on Resy. Reservations can be made for up to 12 guests on the weekend, and up to 16 on on weekdays. Please see notes below for Large Parties.
Service Charge
A 5.2% Health + Admin Fee is added to all checks. This charge is used solely to cover restaurant administration and employee healthcare benefits; it is not a gratuity or tip, and is not distributed to your servers or service staff. Customers paying in cash will receive a 3% discount on the check total. For exceptional service, additional tips, which are distributed entirely to our front-of-house staff, are very welcome.
Large Parties
Large Parties of 7-16 on Sunday-Thursday and 7-12 on Friday and Saturday, please see our Reservations page for availability. If your desired time and date is unavailable, please check with us at RSVP@DinnerPartyBK.com. We can sometimes adjust our seating to accommodate your party. Starting on November 2, 2026 parties of 7-16 can book on Resy, regardless of the day of the week.
Please keep in mind our policies for Large Parties:
In addition to the regular 5.2% Service Charge applied to all checks, we require a 10.0% minimum gratuity (Auto-Gratuity). The Service Charge covers back-of-house wages and restaurant administration, and the Auto-Gratuity goes to our front-of-house staff as a Tip. The Auto-Gratuity is only applied if your Tip is less than 10.0% of the Food+Beverage+Service Charge amount. In these rare instances, we will deduct the difference from your deposit. It is not applied in the restaurant.
To ensure the service runs smoothly, we request all members of the party order our 4-course prix-fixe menu. Guests can substitute Chicken for the Main for an extra $5, and we can accommodate any dietary restriction. You can always add dishes from the à la carte menu to share, but these additions do not substitute for the prix-fixe items. The prix-fixe menu is what it is!
To ensure smooth and accurate payments of your check, we allow maximum of four split checks among your party.
We understand it can be difficult to ensure every member of a Large party will show up, so we allow one no-show without incurring a cancellation fee. However, two or more no-shows will result in a $70 cancellation charge for each no-show over the first one.
On a related note, it is also difficult to ensure everyone in a Large Party arrives on time... especially in Brooklyn! That said, we must start service right at your appointed time, and the meal order needs to be submitted to the kitchen no more than 15-20 thereafter. For early seating parties we will need your table back by 8:30.
We ask that all guests find their seats promptly and remain seated during service. Our space is cozy, so people standing to mingle in the aisles disrupts the work of our front-of-house team (we are "pro-mingle," honest!). In fact, please let us know if we can recommend mingle-friendly neighborhood bars for before or after your dinner - we'd be happy to share our favorites!
Dining Room
Some of our furniture and fixtures in our restaurant are vintage. If you require a more comfortable chair, or find that your flatware is tarnished or your cup chipped, we thank you for your patience and encourage you to let us know.

Cancellations
We kindly request 24 hour notice for cancellations. Any cancellation within the 24 hour window will incur a $70 per person fee. Cancellations made within one hour of the reservation will not incur a fee and cancellations made with at least 4 hours' notice will receive a cancellation credit for future use instead of a fee.
To keep things fair and consistent for all of our guests, our cancellation policy applies universally, regardless of the reason for the change.
To redeem your cancellation credit, please email rsvp@dinnerpartybk.com when booking your next reservation so our team can ensure the credit is properly applied.
Cancellations made within 60 minutes of the original booking will not incur a fee. Modifications or exceptions to this policy are at the sole discretion of management.
